Glagoli Български

Terms of Use

The terms for using Glagoli. Written to be read.

In force from 12 October 2026

This is a translation. The original of these terms is in Bulgarian, at Общи условия. If the two ever differ, the Bulgarian text is the one that applies. Nothing here takes away rights the law of your own country gives you.

1. Who is behind Glagoli

Glagoli is offered by Pixel Lab EOOD (registered as „Пиксел Лаб“ ЕООД), entered in the Bulgarian Commercial Register under UIC 205472124, VAT registered under BG205472124, with its seat and registered address at 24 Slavyanska Street, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria.

Write to us at office@glagoli.app. We answer in Bulgarian and in English.

2. What Glagoli does

Glagoli reads aloud text that you give it yourself — a book, a summary, a topic, a report, a document. You upload a file or photograph printed pages, the app extracts the text and voices it. While you listen, you can stop and ask about what has been read.

The voice you hear is artificial. It is not a recording of a person — it is generated by artificial intelligence from the text when it is voiced.

Glagoli does not offer anyone else's content. We do not sell books, we do not search the internet for texts, and we do not show your files to other people. The app works only with what you give it.

3. Account

You can browse the app without an account. An account is created at your first purchase — with Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or a code sent to your email.

The account keeps what you bought, what has been voiced for you, and how far you have got. You are responsible for access to the device and the account you sign in with.

The service is not intended for children under 16.

4. What you buy and what it costs

You buy hours of voicing. One hour is one hour of finished audio.

PackagePrice
1 hour€2.99
3 hours€7.99
10 hours€22.99

Prices include Bulgarian VAT. In other countries the store shows the price for your country and it may differ — the screen always shows the price the store will actually charge you.

There is no subscription. Nothing renews by itself.

Hours do not expire. They stay until you listen to them.

Hours are spent only on new voicing. Anything already voiced plays again as many times as you like, at no cost.

The first 10 minutes are free — once. So you can hear the voice before you pay anything at all. The trial is one per person and does not renew with a new book, nor with a new account on the same device.

The estimate is fixed

Before you pay, Glagoli tells you how many hours the text will take. If the book turns out longer than the estimate, the difference is on us — you do not pay extra after the fact.

A check before payment

For photographed or scanned pages, Glagoli reads one page free of charge and asks you whether it is right, before it asks for money. If the reading does not suit you, you do not pay.

Who sells to you

Payment goes through the App Store or Google Play. The seller in the transaction is that store, and it issues the purchase document. Your card details do not pass through us and we do not see them.

5. Right of withdrawal

For a distance purchase you have, as a rule, 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. For digital content that right falls away if you received the content immediately — but only if you gave your prior express consent and confirmed that you know what you are giving up.

That is why, at purchase, Glagoli asks for a separate confirmation:

I want access right away and I understand that I therefore lose my right to withdraw within 14 days for what I have already received.

WhatRefundable
Unused hoursYes, within 14 days
Hours already spent on voicingNo

Hours are unused as long as we have voiced nothing with them. You bought three hours and spent one — two come back.

Where to ask for the refund. The payment went through the store, so the refund goes through it too — App Store or Google Play. Write to us at office@glagoli.app and we will confirm to the store that the withdrawal is justified.

6. If something does not work as promised

If what you bought does not match the description, you have the right to ask us to put it right first. If we cannot, or do not do so within a reasonable time, you have the right to a reduction of the price, or to terminate the contract and get your money back.

This right comes from the law and is not limited by anything in these terms.

Complaints go to office@glagoli.app. We answer within 14 days.

7. What we promise and what we do not

The product runs on machines, and machines sometimes get things wrong. So we are precise here.

We promise

We do not promise

Liability

We are liable for the damage we cause. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for intent or gross negligence, or for damage to life and health, nor does anything limit your rights under the law.

8. The content you upload

The book, the summary or the document stays yours. We acquire no rights to it. You give us the right to process it only as far as is needed to perform the service — to extract the text, voice it, and give it back to you.

At upload, Glagoli asks for a separate confirmation. It is given once and holds until this text changes:

The book stays yours. We acquire no rights to it. By uploading it, you confirm that it is yours and that you upload it for yourself.

On the photo screen the same holds without a tick box: Photograph only a book that is yours.

We do not translate content you upload. Glagoli reads it in the language it is in.

9. What is not allowed

In case of a clear breach we may restrict or end access. If we close your account on our own initiative and without a breach by you, your unused hours are refunded.

10. If you leave

You can delete your account at any time, from the settings in the app. Everything then disappears: the texts you uploaded, what was voiced, the notes, and how far you got.

Unused hours disappear together with the account. So if you just want a break, sign out instead — signing out deletes nothing.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell you before the change takes effect. What you bought before the change keeps the terms you bought it under.

12. Law and disputes

Bulgarian law applies. This does not take away the protection given to you by the law of the country where you live.

If you have a complaint, write to us first at office@glagoli.app. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the Commission for Consumer Protection of Bulgaria (4A Slaveykov Square, Sofia, kzp.bg).

Privacy

How we handle your data is described separately, in the Privacy Policy.
